EASO is a joint, non-profit initiative of the European School of Oncology (ESO)and the Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population. It is an independent international cultural body, which operates free from any commercial influence. Its headquarters and operating centre are in Cairo, at the National Training Centre of the Ministry of Health.
EASO is the first and only scientific body that is mainly concerned with young Arab oncologists. We aim to support and enhance their education by organizing regular courses and master classes in Egypt and the Arab world. This is in addition to providing career opportunities in the form of educational grants and fellowships in leading oncology centres in Europe. Such activities will lead to a network of scientific relationships and collaborations between cancer specialists in the European and the Arab countries.
EASO is honored to be organized and run by an international highly selected faculty from Europe and the Arab world in order to provide the highest quality of education.
