The Euro-Arab Fellowship Fund for Oncology


A Euro-Arab Fellowship Fund for Oncology has been launched to support the training needs of young European and Arab oncologists who want to improve their clinical skills in an area of cancer medicine related to the specific epidemiology of the population of one or more Arab countries. The fellowships last foe six months, and can be carried out at a high-level oncological institute in a Europe or Arab country.

The benefits for individual candidates include working at a European or Arab Institute of excellence, career development and transferring advanced knowledge back to the countries of origin

Prerequisites
Candidates must be:
- be oncologists (medical, radiotherapy, surgical, paediatric), or
- be cancer-related physicians (pathologist, radiologist, nuclear medicine, epidemiologist)
- have a minimum of 3 years experience in cancer medicine
- be fluent in the language used in the relevant teaching institute
- be looking to improve their clinical skills
- these fellowships do not cover basic research training

Preference will be given to applicants who have attended one of the EASO teaching events
